About 2.3 million workers are exposed to a particular deadly substance in their workplaces. Do you know how much silica is contaminating your work environment?

Silica dust is a leading cause of occupational disease. It’s not just dust!

Harmful silica particles are much smaller than a fine grain of sand.

More than 100,000 workers in the United States encounter high-risk, silica exposures.

Low level exposure can cause lung cancer.

Acute silicosis can develop within a few weeks and there is no cure.

Silica dust can cause cancer, silicosis and diseases like emphysema and bronchitis.

High Risk Occupations Include:

mining, quarrying, sandblasting, rock drilling, road construction, pottery making, stone masonry, hydraulic fracturing, tunneling operations

Registration for this half-day informational silica seminar is just $139 for EIA Members and $149 for non-members, and includes the ACAC Digital Training Seal for completing the course, and inclusion on the ACAC website. Have questions? Contact info@eia-usa.org or call 888-343-4342!
